Art Menu Class

In each class you will receive an individualized warm up assignment, and then choose a drawing project from a menu. Explore the figure, still-life, faces, animals, landscape, or pick a surprise imagination prompt from a hat. Students will each have an ipad to use for reference photos, and can work in their choice of media. This class is great for building your portfolio, exploring ideas, and strengthening your observational drawing skills.

Figure Drawing Class

Denver Drawing Academy’s figure drawing for kids classes meet on the last Sunday of every month. Practice your figure drawing skills from a costumed model. Work in pencil and charcoal while working on observational skills and training your eye to see shape and proportion. Each class will begin with gesture drawing (short pose), and work into longer poses so you can spend time on details and shading.

Invite a sibling, cousins or friend to draw and paint together at a time and day that works for you. Come to socialize and have some fun creating. This is a great activity for family in town. Open to all ages and abilities. Choose your project ranging from from learning how to draw a face, theme based acrylic painting, gold leafing or figure sculpture. Want a specific project? Just ask! I have many options to suite your interests. Call or email to set up your session.
